Prints + prayer cards available now!

Olympias became friends with the archbishop St. John Chrysostom, and the two wrote each other incredibly important letters, which she collected and saved, helping to establish and solidify so many Church teachings and traditions that we still have today. She defended him when he was exiled, and even though her religious community was disbanded as punishment, she defended him to the end and continued writing letters.
