Happy 2nd Birthday to Our Book!

Happy 2nd birthday to our book!! 🎉

What an incredible experience it was to create, working with other writers and advocates and thinkers I’ve admired for so long, to produce something that has moved so many!

Every time I travel for a speaking engagement, there is always at least one person in attendance moves to tears by the book, letting me know how many others they’ve shared it with, sometimes having to buy new copies of their own when friends love it so much they won’t give it back…I see this as a testament to what can happen when a community works together to produce something beautiful.

My work alone could not bring those tears, because my work is not created alone - it was influenced by the work so many others are doing, its accepted for what it is because of what they have done, and it is important that I continue creating it to continue building this world we all want to see.Thank you so much to all the contributors (find them in my book contributors highlight!)
